Digital Products

Refund Eligibility

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of downloadable digital products (e-books, templates, checklists, guides, etc.) are final and non-refundable unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase. Once the digital product has been delivered to you via download or email, no refunds will be issued.

Exceptions

In the following situations, you may be eligible for a refund for digital products:

  • If you have not downloaded or accessed the digital product and request a refund within 14 days of purchase
  • If the digital product is substantially different from its description on our website
  • If there are technical issues that prevent you from accessing the digital product, and our team is unable to resolve these issues within 7 days

Online Courses and Workshops

Satisfaction Guarantee

For our online courses and workshops, we offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the course or workshop, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have completed less than 30% of the course content.

Refund Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund for an online course or workshop, the following conditions must be met:

  • The refund request must be submitted within 14 days of the purchase date
  • You must have completed less than 30% of the course content
  • You must provide a detailed explanation of why the course did not meet your expectations

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • If you have completed more than 30% of the course content
  • If you request a refund after the 14-day period has expired
  • If you have downloaded all or a substantial portion of the course materials
  • If the course was purchased as part of a bundle or special promotion where it was explicitly stated that the sale was final

  • Reason for requesting a refund

Consulting Services

Cancellation Policy

For consulting services, including one-on-one consultations, group coaching, and custom email marketing strategy sessions, the following cancellation policy applies:

Before the First Session

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
  • Cancellations made between 24-48 hours before the scheduled session: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session: No refund

After Services Have Begun

For consulting packages or ongoing services:

  • If you wish to cancel after the first session has taken place, you will be charged for the sessions already delivered, and the remainder will be refunded
  • No refunds will be issued for services already rendered

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule a consulting session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions may be rescheduled without penalty once per booking, subject to availability. Additional rescheduling may incur a fee of 10% of the session cost.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

To cancel or reschedule a consulting service, please email info@emailmarketingbasics.com with your name, booking reference, and requested changes.

Subscription Services

Cancellation of Subscriptions

For subscription-based services, such as monthly membership programs or recurring newsletter subscriptions, you may cancel your subscription at any time by:

  • Logging into your account and canceling through your account settings
  • Emailing info@emailmarketingbasics.com with your cancellation request

Refund Policy for Subscriptions

  • No refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods
  • When you cancel a subscription, you will continue to have access to the service until the end of your current billing period
  • After cancellation, no further charges will be made to your payment method

Annual Subscriptions

If you have purchased an annual subscription and wish to cancel within the first 14 days, you may be eligible for a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription. Please contact us at info@emailmarketingbasics.com to discuss your specific situation.

Live Events and Workshops

Cancellation by Customer

For in-person or live virtual events and workshops, the following refund policy applies:

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
  • Cancellations made 15-30 days before the event: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 15 days before the event: No refund

Transferring Tickets

If you are unable to attend an event, you may transfer your ticket to another person at no additional cost. Please notify us of the transfer by emailing info@emailmarketingbasics.com with the name and contact information of the person who will be attending in your place.

Cancellation by Email Marketing Basics

In the rare event that we need to cancel or reschedule an event, you will be offered the following options:

  • A full refund of your ticket price
  • The option to attend the rescheduled event (if applicable)
  • The option to transfer your registration to another comparable event

Please note that Email Marketing Basics is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other expenses you may have incurred in relation to a canceled event.

Refund Process and Timing

Refund Processing

Once your refund request has been approved, we will process the refund using the original payment method whenever possible:

  • Credit/debit card refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer
  • PayPal refunds are usually processed within 3-5 business days
  • Bank transfers may take 5-7 business days to reflect in your account

Administrative Fee

Please note that certain refunds may be subject to an administrative fee to cover transaction costs and processing. This fee, if applicable, will be clearly communicated to you before the refund is processed.

Currency Exchange Rates

If your original payment was made in a currency different from your local currency, please be aware that the refunded amount may differ due to currency exchange rate fluctuations.
